The term "Service Animal" is typically referring to an animal that is specially trained to help with a physical disability (e.g. guide dog for the blind) while an Emotional Support Animal is prescribed for someone dealing with mental issues like PTSD, depression, anxiety, etc.

There is no way I would seek out a physical Dr. who will prescribe poison drugs for something that is totally within my mental control!  

However, from what I've seen, most people at these meetings don't prescribe to the BP principles which I feel should be standard.
