The existing number of vacation rentals are so far over those caps that anyone who gets on the wait list today will likely wait 5-10 years before they're up for a permit.I do think this is the natural progression of what is still a relatively new industry.

Either through value add or naturally. 

Always fix all water issues first before moving on to doing major repairs of a structural  nature.  

Human nature is fallible and any business that exists out there is run by humans.

It seemed a natural fit for me since I always wanted to be a businessman but still had a 9 to 5.

That takes a little time to develop those resources - but they naturally come with experience.

Hello there community, in the recent days I have been teasing the idea of house hacking if I decide to move in the future  in SLC ( love skiing and the nature). 

This is just the nature of commercial loans. 

@Mike Lambert I'm curious about the nature of your investments in Mexico, geo area, type of investment, etc?

Its just kind of the nature of the beast and investing were over 50% of all homes are rentals its a different lifestyle than what we are used to at least on the west coast were maybe 10% of SFR's are rentals  renters rent apartments.
