I would never paint brick in my area due to all the moisture and humidity, but I think I could even stain the brick a nice grey color for fairly cheap and repaint trim white for some nice contrast.

I noticed there are multiple doors that do not close properly without jamming including the front door which hopefully is not due to foundation shifting, our contractor said its more than likely just a build up of moisture filling up inside and all the wood expanding and warping.

Hey everyone, looking for advice.We have owned a condo (3/2) for 10+ years and the market is now favorable for selling.We have had two full price offers both of which terminated during due diligence due to subtle structural damage, moisture, and rusting on the old cast iron pipes under the common building.

We're trying to decide on what material to use to replace it.There's not great air flow to inside which is why we're considering moving away from carpet and something that may hold less moisture, easier to clean, look more modern etc.

@Lindsey Thomspon wood rot (potential siding and window leaks), mold in attic could be a ventilation problem with the bathroom, ceiling damage from leaking bathroom above (in walls too most likely), water in the crawl space (poor lawn grading which is probably the reason for most of the moisture), just to name a few.
