I had a situation where the tenant was recovering from a  liver transplant and i filed for eviction but also provided her with a list of agencies that could help her.

Based on what I've heard from them during the past several years, it is not the place to invest for reasons others members are posting here and the fact that Bend's economy is somewhat artificial with all the transplants coming in from California.

In the meantime, I would try to force the Board into some form of reason by having my lawyer go through those covenants with a fine tooth comb and find any loophole, area that they already violating, or way I could increase the costs for everyone by suing the HOA.I think if you come across as lily-livered, you're going to get nowhere.

Most of my investing has been in North Main and the Augusta Road areas...urban lifestyle but good schools, affordable living, and convenience to everything...it's a gem.Regarding #2, yes our redneck homes are pretty affordable for many northerners...my neighborhood is mostly transplants and foreigners.
