When transactions aren't going smoothly right before closing, it is easy for one or more of the people involved to become emotionally charged and react in ways that either anger or embarrass one or more of the others involved and can be inappropriate or unprofessional.

Tenant sent numerous inappropriate correspondence, involved other roommates unnecessarily and told us no repairs can be done during Tenancy, after we caught water damage to the brand new bathroom that was installed.

Just contacting them about your costs and asking them to open a claim on their insurance to cover them does not seem inappropriate to me. 

Not saying the S&P500 or the real estate is really worth or valued properly presently (I am even more convinced equities and property is grossly inflated and skewed inappropriately, but it is what it is). 

As others have said, if you didn't put any of this in writing, then you don't owe her anything.Unless you guys led her to believe she would be getting residual bonuses for every job you ever do for this client, it is absolutely inappropriate and crazy for her to expect you to be paying her out of follow up jobs.

Hello, I currently use a combination of Cozy and bank statements for accounting for 13 units (mostly SFR) I currently have, but am looking for suggestions on what may be best moving forward with a growing portfolio.I like how easy Cozy is to use and you can use someone without accounting experience to add in appropriate expenses for each property each month.
