If you provide a washer machine get new stainless steel washer machine hoses with burst protecting check valves inside of them. 

I would also add a ton of lights, outlets, and even run air hoses.

This is how it worked: the "land agent" had a buddy on the scene who set up a big bladder full of water a bit further up the mountain, ran a hose through the brush down the mountain, and buried the last fifteen feet.

I'm not sure it's accurate to say that investors in a syndication USUALLY get hosed.

So yeah you’re getting hosed most likely

My business partner and I are in buying mode and we're closing on a 3 family tomorrow because the deal is so good and the property will cash flow like a fire hose after we've made a few improvements/secured tenants. 

Hose rental price in the area avg range from 900 to 1500.

After that, put in a dehumidifier with a drain hose pump (So that your tenant don't have to go there to drain it everything it is full) until you figure out a more permanent solution.
