There's so much information here on BiggerPockets as well as the podcast and books and other websites, books and blogs too that are either free or very cheap.

Hello Terry, If you're looking to find houses that are in pre-foreclousure you can use a website like www.foreclosure.com and you can get the list of properties and start marketing to them.

I wish there were more 'filters' / Criteria that you can filter by in real estate website to find what you're looking for. 

The other info sounds great but I would verify the assumptions I mentioned because if they’re off, it throws everything else off.  

You can look on websites like https://www.corporatehousingbyowner.com/search/United-States... and https://www.furnishedfinder.com to see what similar houses are rented for.
