Is your deed holder entity being named as additional insured under GC and sub contractor's policies?

Two days ago it was an investor who created an additional LLC independent of the deed holder entity believing tenants could only sue the LLC where a contractual relationship existed. 

My own thinking is their US passport was suspended which is required to remain in Portugal if you are a holder of a temporary residence card and they had to leave??
