Water company will tell you if meter is/hass run constantly for x number of days. they should be able to tell you water usage compared to history for that building and compared to neighbors (make sure it’s same number of units.)In some areas they will send a team out to replace faucets, toilet valves and such to save water.

I pretended to be a builder and we created a list of all the big items, i.e. furnace, water heater, A/C, as well as smaller stuff like faucets, oven, Microwave, dishwasher, fridge, light fixtures, etc.

Replace the top with something contemporary and elegant, and use a vessel sink with a nice simple faucet set, a nicely framed mirror (or tight wall-to-wall, counter-to-celing mirror with a hole drilled for the light fixture), and a clean-lined contempo fixture (a couple of hanging pendants?).

Replacing all light fixtures, faucets, doors, door knobs, ceiling fans, every inch of wall was repainted, all moulding from brown to white, new laminate flooring through the whole first floor and vinyl in the bathrooms, repainted the deck, and really landscaped outside, as well as a brand new porch.

I have a guy that works way cheaper then he should and does them for about $1300 labor which I know is crazy so I am trying to get a grasp on reality when I start shopping rates again.For a small full bathroom we typically do a complete gut except we keep the tub and reglaze it - Labor usually consists of ceramic tile shower surround/tile floor - new toilet,light,mirror,towel bar,faucet, shower head - trim and painI know this is region specific but just interested to hear others
