Areas close to coastlines, universities, rivers, major highways, large employers, hospitals, airports etc are likely to keep growing.

Mexico has very long coastlines though so you can't just bet but you could strike gold if you get it righted we're making best use of our local connections to find out before the word gets out.

The beach is always a draw, but there’s a huge coastline of it.  

Out on the coast we have breathtakingly beautiful coastline, some of which is multi million dollar estate ville, but other areas are still pretty affordable.

I'm not sure what the STR laws are in that area, but with Aberdeen's fame and the crabbing seasons along WA's coastline, it may be a decent place for vacation rentals too.

tampa bays growing economy and cultural scene makes it a no brainer, areas just outside as many here have already said, like dunedin (my fav lil town), bradenton with its proximity to anna maria island, or tarpon springs  and palm harbor all offer great coast lines that are not overly populated. as i understand it pinellas county has dropped its efforts to stop str and decided to tax them at a different  rate.

Much of the Spanish coastline together with the big cities are already well developed.
