I recently added new properties in a new city and posted a craigslist ad but got no response.

I live in the Milwaukee area and want to get started investing locally but eventually want to branch out into other cities and states.

But some believe condos are riskier due to potential mismanagement of the community by the HOA.As an out of state buyer seeking a low risk/maintenance LTR, are there any glaring downsides to buying and renting out a condo? 

I believe you are in OR, one of my favorite States, but a long flight from pretty much everywhere.

That is on one of the largest arterial streets in the city, massive traffic count.

This second defeat at the ballot seemingly left WIP with few options, and it was looking like they way overpaid for this land that in it's current legal state could only be used as a golf course or park. 

So, the first question they usually ask a PMC is about fees - instead of asking about services and HOW those services are executed.EXAMPLE: PMC states they will handle tenant screening – what does that specifically mean?

Do you or most landlords comply with the city ordinance to get their properties inspected & registered by the city?
