Advanced QuickBooks ProAdvisor was introduced in 2007, to get certified the requirement was: one had to be certified for 3 years in a row and had to attend 2 day in person and online courses.

If someone refers you a tenant they must attend a showing, apply and go through the same screening as everyone else.

Meetup is a fantastic app to find real estate meetings around you, and look for local REIA (real estate investor associations) and attend a bunch of meetings.

Lastly, please make sure all of the adult members of your household are able to attend your appointment.

For the public unless you're attending EVERY planning commission and city council/county commissioner meeting you wont hear all of the back and forth.  

I really appreciate the advice on attending a local investor group meet up.

I can’t attend local real estate gatherings and any investor I network with won’t share their contractor without getting anything in return. 

I believe they are still doing the occasional JBB workshop but I believe Dave is quite selective in who they let attend.  

I’ve heard him speak briefly about this on a podcast or two and am signed up to attend a webinar with them later this week.

I did not attend the 3 day class, but purchased the self paced virtual version with the mind set that even if I only learned the how, it would be worth the spend long term.
