Additionally, Airbnb’s policies support hosts when guests do not comply with house rules.

One landlord told me they "may" lose sec8  and in a state like Massachusetts they may also not so they might not be sufficiently afraid of losing it to feel they have to move.Also, in NY I see advertised things like "No section 8".

It is also been my experience and observation that there are people that have money and quite a bit that do not advertise the fact.. 

To take it a step further we have been taking loans from our 401K’s to help support down payments on rental properties.

Is anyone else going this route with their advertising to try to create a niche for their rentals?

A while back, a friend of mine stumbled onto a Virginia closing cost assistance program that wasn’t widely advertised..ended up saving $5K just by asking the right questions.

You have a good support system here, hopefully your brokerage does as well.
