It has 0 VOCs, which keep the odors down and is more environmentally friendly than many.  

The renter are complaining about the odor in the whole house now, and we do not have odor appendix in our contract, I wonder are we responsible for the cleaning at this moment?

They leave the door to their apartment open all the time and the odor coming out of their is just gosh awful.

The water should be water tight, the p trap stops the odor of sewer gasses, and it all goes down the drain to the same place.  

As soon as I and renewed the lease the tenant wrote me this long message with all these thing wrong, including drain smells bad(she’s been putting bleach down the drain to kill the odor, the lights in the kitchen and bedroom are flickering(this ones easily fixable) & the bathroom floor is in-caving because of water damage(she suggested a new shower door).

It seems like getting rid of the odor can be a significant issue.
