Andrew is a sage wizard of finance in my opinion, so go with what he says.But before that I had a nationwide online bank in the end zone for closing on a cash-out refi, and they dumped me because they couldn't find a title company that would speak their same language.

If payments get pushed down the road, there will be a price attached to that, one way or another.I follow the sage advice of people much smart than me and maintain a healthy reserve.

@Stone Jin Two birds with one stone.... while having a blower door test on the house for air leaks, use some burning sage for the tracing of the leaks.
