Hi BP Family,My lovely unit in the Hermosa neighborhood has been receiving a lot of attention from undocumented immigrants.

It's a good balance between expensive Manhattan/Hermosa/Redondo and the dives that are in other parts of the South Bay. 

As a first time homebuyer / house hacker, I always recommend that you live somewhere that you like and Humboldt Park / Hermosa are both great neighborhoods.

My Grandma's first house was a mile from the beach in Hermosa Beach, CA.   

I am a realtor in Playa Coco/Hermosa.

The city of Hermosa Beach California charges a 10% Hotel Tax fee (maybe, more now) for people who have STR's on the beach and these people were taxed long before I ever heard the term 'STR'.

I'm in Hermosa Beach (South Bay LA) - but open to properties here, OC, or SD.

Manhattan Beach just overturned their ban on strs & Hermosa Beach is pretty clear on their policies.
