Just like your situation many people are underwater due to the taxes.The other place you might be able to go is County Commissioners Office and/or some community advocate from City Hall to see if they would help you.

I mean how many people buy at foreclosure sale or commissioners sale or sherrifs sale then have no clue what to do.. would think a little due diligence up front.. but any way welcome to the club I find those deals most exciting .

I have spoken with the building commissioner and it seems like no building inspector is willing to just go out there and walk around and give a list of things that need to be brought up to code.

I also have contacted the county commissioners and copied the sheriff's department - detailing how this incident has played out with the 30+ calls.The county commissioners are the ones that estate how the noise ordinance is set up, in which law enforcement has to catch the culprits in the act.I will continue to report them as I want them to move.

I can testify at city council meetings, but the commissioner proposing this doesn't care 2 licks about what any landlord says, and at least 2 of the 4 other commissioners tend to vote exactly the same as this commissioner.
