Do you know if these tightening restrictions also apply to Cathedral City?

I'm pretty excited for the concept here, sticking with the same cathedral gray walls of property #2, white ceiling & baseboard but coupled with a wide plank, light gray laminate flooring that should pair well.  

We would hire the painter to do harder places (like cathedral ceilings that needed a ladder) while I painted the easier rooms, and my husband had the handyman doing the jobs he didn't want to do, like changing out toilets while he was installing new light fixtures, etc.

@Pandu Chimata, I have been looking in the same area for the past few months (Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, La Quinta, and Cathedral City).

Also, Cathedral City just put a moratorium on new STR permits.Palm Springs has medium to strict regs, but they allow STR's.

Many cities recently tightened rental restrictions including in Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Cathedral City, and La Quinta.

With an older property, if the previous owners have NOT dealt with the issues, then those issues are often readily visible (for instance, if the house had structural issues that were not resolved, the sagging will often be visible on a 50+ year old house, but may not be visible on a 10 year old house).Here's a real-life example: I bought a new property; a very nice and spacious place with cathedral ceilings and some nice amenities.

By the way--those cathedral ceilings should be a good selling point---I would make sure that your new photos and staging help feature those!

Cathedral ceiling...so 6” batt insulation and 3 walls exterior with 4th to uninsulated attic...Austin, TX.

We have updated it a lot over the years and now I'm beginning on my living room.The living room has a cathedral ceiling and you can look down on the room as you enter the home.
