I do not understand why someone would thousands or even millions on an investment but will not spend a day and a few hundred dollars on airfare

Or for me because of status I can book a points trip tie up the seat and cancel last second with no penalty and get my points put back in both for the room and the airfare..

The low airfares and maybe cabin fever have contributed to lots of visitors from the mainland. 

Have been to them on both coasts, so have had to pay for air fare and lodging on some.

I have a hard time paying big money for an event plus the airfare and hotel.
