Using a VA loan for a second property, where I’d move in and rent out my current home.When I made an offer on a fixer-upper (I didn’t win that bid), the loan officer mentioned it might be difficult to convince the underwriter why I’d need another VA loan for a second property in the same area, especially since the new home is almost identical to my current one (same size, age, school district, etc.).

I agree with wanting the first one to be a "win", I'm just concerned that makes it harder to find something that will cash flow.

Yes, I simply say I'm interested in seeing if a property might be for sale and I'd like to find the owner.

I simply budget 5% for capital expenses and 5% another 5% for maintenance and work with the money that accumulates in that pot.

At the auctions I attended the winning bid amounts varied from $80K-500K.  

Without coaches, without gurus, without any other resources, they simply saved some money, bought a property, managed it as best they could, and held it for 30+ years. 

There is no other service setup to almost solely win deal at the tax deed and foreclosure auctions.  

Financial freedom goes far beyond simply replacing your current income.

ya Americans simply are unware that many parts of the world the tp goes in to a waste can not the plumbing.. 

My guess is they simply cleaned the entire unit.
