Just because you don't make any money on them, doesn't mean you aren't responsible, along with the source of the actual plans, for any mistakes in the plans, or even any mistakes in construction from lack of info, misunderstanding, or just plain stupidity of the builder/user of the plans.

Not as many amenities with townhomes usually but as example the interest rates aren't any higher on a townhome compared to a condo. 

There are so many lost opportunities relying on assumptions that aren't accurate and easily verified.

When purchasing all cash on the same deal it's a lot more difficult to get a similar COC return, the numbers aren't even close. 

I have contacted them multiple times but they aren't being forthcoming. 

If the GC and contractors fall behind or aren't getting the work done, then they won't get paid and they will be replaced with a different crew.
