I'd say they do make sure the punishment fits the crime, if they find other bad deeds or that the bad ones have a long list of offenses I'd bet they get it a bit harder.As to the good ones, do you mean more skilled, the ones who can value and estimate deals, that don't leave sellers hanging, those kind of good ones?

Also, if you want to claim that many other states punishe this as a felony, I am going to need each and every state you claim does so, and their enabling statutes, to confirm.

Same dollars but psychologically people will feel better about about saving money rather than being punished. 

If we also got rid of the major corporate tax loopholes (with regards to how option are taxed, etc), we'd get not just the rest of the way there, but we'd have a surplus by 2020.I can't speak for others, but if it means that my children could inherit a country without debt (or significantly less debt), I'd happily pay higher taxes for the next 10-20 years (and yes, my family would be personally affected if the Bush Tax Cuts were repealed)...perhaps we should consider it punishment for allowing our politicians to squander our money for so long...

Georgia, I don't think, is punishing on state income taxes.  

Get one that protects you from unlawful eviction lawsuits as well.Are you currently in el DF?

His support of Capital Punishment, his attempts to ban gay marriage.

And then everyone can hold hands and get punished together!

You could explain to them that an eviction would result in an unlawful detainer and affect their credit and that you then would have a money judgement against them and that going your route would be a win win for both parties.

They are some pretty smart and LIBERAL people, If they thought it unlawful they would find a way to over turn it, but they didn't do either.
