For the last 8 years or so, we have been living in a 2/3 of double in New Orleans, Louisiana that I renovated over a long and exhaustive 3 years.

There's a company that started in New Orleans called Civic Source. 

Of course, it is also needed in hurricane prone areas as the people of New Orleans found out.

The property is managed by a statewide Louisiana Realty, who happens to be the largest in Baton Rouge, and has a large market share in the New Orleans market.

I moved to New Orleans and didn't even have a job lined up yet, lol. 

I am currently rehabbing homes in the New Orleans market and have done so for several years.

Mainly b/c I'm a glutton for punishment and slightly masochistic..living in New Orleans though, where everyone i know is struggling or broke, you have to be that way unfortunately.. but i keep my chin up and do my best and try to get that 1st deal closed..if I can persevere, so can you..godspeed...

I purchased two tax sale certificates for $1315.27 and $601.00 for two properties (both doubles) in New Orleans, LA in March; one property has already been redeemed ($601) and I have received my refund with interest.  

One friend of mine who was doing houses in New Orleans said she had entities call her name, even try to push her down stairs.
