@Kai Van Leuven the longer the lease option the more money we make with the debt pay down, and the cash flow and the more reasonably we can set the option strike price.

We believe, though can’t be sure, it was auction.com bidding us up (they say that they may do this).As the bid rose, auction.com lowered the required bid increments.We ended up the highest bid and won the auction. 24 hrs later we were notified that we had not met the sellers price and were offered a higher price by auction.com on behalf of the seller at which we could strike a deal.

If they don't want to strike a deal with you, then that's it.Third, it might make sense as a deal to you but it's obviously a huge emotional issue for the mother.
