If your purpose is for legal protection I would consult an attorney.  

I do have my litigation attorney on our main priority of partial summary judgment for the lien.

Lender wise talk to @Zack Karp or @Jose Valdovinos...all of those folks work mainly with invetors and have a great pulse on the Chicago market.

When I search properties mainly in Punta Cana I always run into sites where condos are in development and have about 1 - 2 years till completion.

Some investors find success doing mainly MTR and open up some dates for STR in between contracts.

I will say it is equivalent to a profit and loss report, so I would think it would be sufficient for that purpose along with some other reports I'm sure they will need.

I don't use Buildium so I can't speak to what it can or can't do but owner's can sometimes be added on other platforms as co-hosts for the purpose of visibility.
