I am looking for any recommendations for inspectors that are familiar and experienced with smaller multi-family units.  

Hi @Harrison Blaufuss Fellow SoCal member investing in Indy, there is a lot of homework you will do but at the end of the day you are relying heavily on your team, at first your realtor that found the house and has given you their future predictions of the area,  then your PM will tell you what they think of the home and area, if you like it and place an offer then after the detailed inspection you can call and talk to the inspector for a few minutes about the house and area. 

They will have a building inspector that can advise on your local building codes.

I bought a flip a while back and was able to talk to the town inspector to give the CO despite some issues (water damage, cracked windows, etc) because he knew I was going to fix them all when I took possession.

The roof is brand new and there weren't any other issues with it that the inspector pointed out.

I’m the type of person that wants to understand every part of something I want to commit too.My question for BP nation is there any benefits in getting ur Real Estate license and your Home inspector license just to have a better understanding their aspects.

While looking at inspector report, I noticed that 1 of the bedrooms does not have a  closet.
