Just my personal opinion - get a mentor or a person who already has good experience running STR business, preferably in your area (but not 100% required). 

You don't need to know everything to get started; you need a foundation to build on, and the rest will come through experience and then refining your education.You can build a basic understanding of investing in 3-6 months.

Since then, I have started my own cleaning company specializing in Airbnb Turnovers, Commercial Real Estate, and working with Realtors to help create memorable client experiences. 

I agree with the above statements; I would join any local Facebook groups and connect with them on their experiences.
