Rather than trading depreciating paper for a digital paper that produces a roller coaster of emotions, I'd rather trade it for REAL income-producing assets that appreciate over time and give me more paper.

@Dave Charron, just a guess but perhaps the company wasn't properly insured or the guy wasn't an on the books employee and also the company probably has no suitable assets that can be sold off to collect against them. 

Much of my money goes towards buying land and reselling, revenue is slow but I have accumulated enough land as assets now.

One of the first things they mentioned was "investors do not do fractional" or digital ledgers etc.

That doesn't have to be 1/1/25, it can be 2/23/25 or whatever date in 2025 you place the asset in service.
