I’ve been thinking going the second home/ mid term/ str route. another thought I have is venture further into a rental property but I know with rates, finding a deal that would cash flow would be tough. 

Loan amount is low enough but be prepared for higher rate and sometimes pay a flat fee for the loan.

Just be prepared to jump through some hoops and talk to a lender who's worked with investors and LLCs before.

If not, prepare for devoting tons of time to it in the beginning but eventually you can get some great tenants and have all your maintenance/systems in place, you will be ok!

Prepare yourself with a specific list of questions to ask each, literally interview them.
