"Listings", off market properties is what everyone is looking for but only hustlers will uncover them and have investors begging for them. 

I think the purpose of a home inspection is to uncover hidden problems and not as a tool to renegotiate the sales price.

.), this is a significant expense, especially if a lot of people live in the apartment and/or they have washing machines-- Try to uncover any issues with the city.

My concerns are what do I do if an inspection uncovers structural issues that can make the investment unprofitable or what if title search reveals liens against the property or if other such issues come up.

The beneficiary of a trust is, I believe, not knowledge easily uncovered.

You just have to look everywhere and you will uncover a few!  

Electrical Panels -  The inspection uncovered that the electric panels were made by Federal Pacific Electric and have a design defect where the breaker does not timely trip and the thus increase the risk of electrical fire.

I used this knowledge to ask some questions and uncovered all kinds of things they omitted from the application.
