It's literally meet up, have a beer (or wine in my case), eat if you're hungry, and chat with the people sitting around you.  

@Nicolas Paez- How many units in each complex?  

I spent the entire weekend curled up with J Scott's ebook and a glass of wine, but either he only buys newer houses or I had too much wine because I didn't read the word lead once (or asbestos for that matter, which is a whole 'nother can of worms)We're in Maryland so I suspect the guidelines are a little stricter here.  

@George Wines IMO it needs to at least be close to the 1% rule (sum of the monthly rents is around 1% of the purchase price.

If you analyze 1 deal per day, continue to save and live frugally (boxed wine is just as good), and listen to 1 podcast every day, you'll be well on your way to building a rental property empire in no time at all.

@Nicolas Paez this is exactly how I plan on getting what I plan on paying for the property.

I lived at Silverado.. worked 6 months a year in Oregon and then just played golf ,, drank fine wine dinned out etc etc.. but even that got boring..

This is not a dinner to "pitch anyone on your deals or mine" just an opportunity to network with real players in the market over good food and wine.
