That said, I just bought a new house in Los Angeles during the holidays... purchased it ALL CASH instead financing as the sellers needed to close asap. 

It's not the nicest of areas and unless you have some reason to want to move there eventually, I am not sure I see the point in owning half of a duplex in a giant complex in a not so amazing part of Worcester....but that's just me.  

Even with the holiday schedule working against us, and we were dealing with a picky 1st time home buyer on the other end!!

I could build a small eat-in kitchen table area where we squeeze in elbow to elbow for meals or build a more formal dining room that’s suitable for 10-12 people so we always have have room holiday guests and family or friends at our table.

Unless you have a giant company almost nobody is going to remember the name of your LLC, but they will remember you.

THAT'S how you gain and maintain marketshare, sticking to examples we all know about, we can point to biggerpockets, we can point to the growth of zillow/redfin/etc (hate em all you want, you can't argue with success), the growth of the iPhone from when it was launched, and so on.For existing giants trying to maintain marketshare, you just gotta stay relevant, you gotta stay important, you gotta keep innovating.

Should the 5th turn out to be a Sunday or holiday or it just doesn't get postmarked until the 6th, too bad, I will issue a late fee.
