No seasoning.

Michael, I've been reading about hot tubs and "hot" is in the name, but they can be cold water tubs too, so the temperature can be set as the season varies.  

I see this thread is somewhat older with a recent response.

Rental income also sometimes has seasoning requirements before a lender wants to count it towards covering the debt you incurred.You don't mention how much income you will need to be financially independent.  

I'd personally talk to some contractors, and local real estate agents, and do some more connecting on here to get some more opinions from more seasoned veterans. 

I'm super excited to step into this season of life and look forward to learning a lot and growing. 

Older homes are harder projects. 4) Make up your lack of experience with other strong compensating factors like good credit, liquidity, and a solid game plan. 

Season it for 6-12 months..then go for it.

@Guy KerenMost of the homes in the midwest markets are going to be older usually built in the 1900-1940's or maybe even older depending on the neighborhood.

It's not hard to find people involved in real estate who are older than me.
