This will give you an idea of what it's worth.You could start advertising on Zillow and FB marketplace and see if you can find a buyer and skip the realtor fees.Aslo if you don't want to rent it yourself turn it over to a property manager for now and let them manage it for you so that you are just getting paid every month.I like to think of rental.properties as money trees.

:@Hai Loc that seems highly speculative and leaves a lot of time for something to go wrong and depending on how much needs to be put down, the return does not seem worth the risk even if it was a small percentage of someone's investable capital.I totally agree it's pure speculative.. the sad part is lots of people have been making a killing on it.. its definitely not my cup of tea but I bought a few at the right time and to be honest got lucky..

From a tenants perspective there is always mold and it is always black mold and every tree limb is moments from falling on the house, and every neighbor is a drug dealer.It seems you have reacted in timely reasonable way.

@Hannah Singer The big-ticket items are the roof, mechanicals, flooring, tree work (if needed), major electrical or plumbing (if needed) older homes are more expensive to renovate and this one was built in 1958 (not too old).
