You can host your own version cheaply on a server like dreamhost, wp-engine or digital ocean.

Look at the feature sets, support, strategy guidance etc. that are much more robust than a simple WP install... not to mention the tech stack that enables an investor to have the best of the best of servers, speed upload times, etc... vs. having to be on a low end shared server.

We have customized ours so the main cost is time and space on a server.

Of the ones that want an appointment, I schedule one time slot a week.

I would also consider setting something up where you're accessing confidential information from a secure, and remote server - this would require an internet connection to access any data though.

I would set the days and time slots I am available and the applicants would sign up.

It used up one of my 10 slots.
