Does this mean, I am not able to refinance to a lower rate in the future until 5 years or I would have to pay a penalty if I were to do it earlier than 5 years.Thank You, A lot depends on your credit score, the loan to value, the loan size and the DSCR number.

but i've run into several issues when I apply for HELOC1. the home is a a rental and the banks/credit unions don't allow HELOCS on rental properties2. as mentioned the property is in the Northwest and I live in the southwest.
