Unless it's owner occupied and they just don't care.I am starting to see a lot of interest in putting small ADUs on existing multi-family properties though.

When you say multi-family, are you thinking of buying a 2-4 unit?

Based on what you all have said I think my best option for now is to put the multi fam under my LLC and keep renting the others as I have been.
