Does anyone have any referrals for property managers in the Los Angeles area who specialize/ have experience in mid term rentals? 

Another thing, the threads move down the forums rather quickly because it's so busy, so the odds of your post being seen for long by very many people is minimal. 

As long as the business portion of the land is at least equal to the amount of your sale  that would satisfy your exchange. 

However, I probably would not upgrade it but I would rent it out LONG TERM at least until you know your long term status in Portland.  

No losses but not a long track record.
