@Andrew Scott, In my much younger days I did a ton of these but I wouldn't touch anything structured the way the gurus and coaches 'teach' today with a 10 foot pole.

Sure, they often offer a more-in-depth, paid seminar or coaching session the following weekend, but the content at the general meeting alone is worth it.

I've bought and sold HUD properties and made some large profits.A couple of months ago I spent $3000 on Real estate courses to teach me how to wholesale and do Short Sales.I finally got tired of the courses and hired a Coach. ( Andrew Massaro) I’ve been with him for three weeks now and just got my first deal.If you really want to jump start your business get help.

Their coaching programs are outrageous, don't think I would ever do that.

I have recently been contacted by a investment coach service by Preston Ely and Than Merril.

You will most likely be fed amazing stories and then the big push to buy their coaching package which is a rip off. 

Be careful as Utah is the place where all the coaching gimmicks are located.
