Following.What sort of property do you have?

Hello BP,I need some advice on what is the worst investment I've ever made.Overview:- Purchased a condo in 2022 for $270k, with a 3% down payment.

People have found amazing deals in the worst of markets.  

If you need fast money, I would go into some sort of a sales trades or stock trading. 

I understand that, but if you keep it as a primary residence and do some sort of house hacking deal where you rent out rooms, can you get passed that?

I had another tenant, a woman with an amazing job, high education, credit better then mine, was very clean, we knew mutual people in the neighborhood, the worst ticket she had was a parking meter ticket..Anyways, I thought I found the greatest tenant in town.

I agree (mostly) except something tells me that come spring we will see a change in the RE market......more 'back to normal' for lack of a better term.With the interest rates likely IMO to drop (Due to the upcoming election and the current Prez putting pressure on the Fed) combined with the built-up pressure from the market being stagnant in '23, there has to be a release of sorts.

When it comes time to actually invest, you will typically be required to show some sort of verification - either a signed financial statement if you meet the requirement on net worth, or income tax returns if you meet the requirement on income.  

Will be your worst investment compared to your future deals. 

So, the town of Ithaca (which is a sort of donut surrounding downtown) passed restrictions on STRs a few years ago.
