We are offering a tenant a hotel room due to no water.   

I put the entire design & development teams together, get all city approvals and then manage construction of high-rise residential buildings, hotels - and recently even industrial - ground up projects.On the side (much more than a hobby at this point) I am investing with my super talented partner and brother from a different mother @avihay ohana (also a BP pro member) in the Charlotte, NC area.     

I wanted to know your input on this strategy, I've done a couple of small projects, dealt with tenants etc. and also have a w2 job which I want to quit and do this full time.Instead of purchasing one big hotel, I want to purchase small duplexes, triplex and fourplexes and airbnb them (it's allowed in my area).

For O'ahu, vast majority of legal STR's are in the hotel district of Waikiki.  

Then you will have enough points for multiple roundtrip airline tickets (or hotel points) to anywhere in the world. 

We looked for an area where there are not many large hotels and where most of the rentals are privately owned homes.

One was headed to a hotel to stay for 3 weeks-nice to know they had money for that, but not rent.

If you rent to a couple with no kids and they have a baby, you are then required to delead the unit with the added expense of putting the tenants up in a hotel during the process.

They started tons of construction downtown including a new hotel and luxury river rentals and then COVID hit.

Just like Robert Kiyosaki says " If you want to becoming rich in real estate, buy 4 green houses and one red hotel.
