One trend I have seen shifting in my market, Sheboygan County, is going from a sellers market to a buyers market. 

There is no SST and makes it easier to house hack 3-4 unit properties and you can use that loan repeatedly while with FHA loans you can only have one at any given time.

Hey @Thanh Lu, so if you only have a couple of units, then self management isn't that hard.The key to doing it right is setting it up properly and keeping up on maintenance.I can count the number of late night calls from guests on one hand.

My number one piece of advice is finding a group that you can attend online or in person to keep you motivated and accountable to your goals. 

We probably would have renovated the main house also, and turned that one into an Airbnb if we had really thought about it back then.

It's a more involved discussion that requires one on one communication and no, joining a "community" does not prepare you.

It does not have to be a one to one exchange or a asset class to asset class.
