If it is a domestic abuse situation, I would encourage the abused tenant to get a protection order.

If your financials don't change and your LTV won't be different, I would imagine it's a better situation for the bank to have the tenanted, renovated property, so I don't see why you would be denied, but I couldn't say for sure.

Fixed the laundry abuse problem, i charge the same amount of rent and make a little extra on the side from the use of the washer and dryer.
