There is some benefit to adding a land trust, though, as you can introduce some anonymity through the use of the land trust.

If you want anonymity you can do a few more things, but if you run it yourself that will not hold up to a lawsuit unless you pretty much divest yourself of participating in it.  

I think the box I got was $56 for the year, but it varies by location.Not sure how you feel about anonymity, but for me, $56 a year is a no brainer.

I can have anonymity and don't have to file yearly, which is awesome!

The only benefit I can see is anonymity and "hiding" the DOSC for properties taken subject-to.

No.An LLC is useful for two things: anonymity and legal protection.
