I believe your lots are in Park township which do not currently have any restrictions but Holland Charter Township banned short term rentals but do not currently have any way to enforce it.

The house will need to be completely gutted, doesn't even have CAC (we live in GA so will need that), needs completely new electrical, taking down walls, rearranging of bedrooms, replace windows and doors, enclosing the carport to a garage, it needs a ton of work.

She files bankruptcy which is immediately rejected by the court as she is a serial filer and has been banned from filing for 5 years.So, we foreclose on the home; it appears at the foreclosure sale that there is lots of bidder interest which of course means that the winning bid will go far above what we’re owed and the borrower will be receiving a large amount of money equal to the overage.

Palm Springs put a moratorium on them a while back, then suspended it, then (I believe) restricted/banned them again.

We had a long discussion with our accountant about all this and it was his opinion that the city isn't going to be able to uphold it's STR ban in the courts, and further they aren't really enforcing it right now anyway.
