The location is prime and has beautiful Mountain Views. 

People who had the same idea want to put homes back on the market now realize these beautifully restored homes do not sell after 3-4 weeks on the market.

They host a lot of public events and the public green spaces are beautiful. 

To put things in a bit of perspective, nearly all of this rapid gentrification (and it has been rapid in the past 5 years-- you'd barely recognize it from 2010) was triggered by the completion of the Marriott (Pier South) which is a beautiful hotel.  

Then I’m thinking it would be best to purchase that distressed home with a hard money loan (since I don’t have the full cash) then fix it and live in my beautifully fixed up personal home.

I am in escrow to purchase a beautiful 3+2 in South Lake Tahoe (in the county so I can still get the permit). 

Hello beautiful people of BP, This is an atypical post, and not necessarily in the perfect sub-forum, but can't find a more fitting one. 

It was a beauty to watch.

It's crazy how quickly you can go from a decent neighborhood with beautiful architecture to crappy apartment buildings which are crumbling into the ground occupied by drug addicts.I'll be looking for a PM company in the L/A area sooner rather than later.
