Communication is averaging 2 weeks between messages/contact..is this the norm?   

I am on site virtually everyday communicating with the contractors and coordinating their efforts (we act as GC).  

Having a comprehensive contract and clear communication upfront will contribute to a smoother and more successful fix and flip venture.

Once you're under the management umbrella of REI you'll be assigned a customer service rep that will reach out once a month regardless of what's going on so there's open lines of communication. 

That is how we communicate with the IRS. 

I have to stay on top of the PM about communication with me and there’s even been months where they haven’t sent me a statement.

Make sure you communicate to the cleaners that you're hosting longer stays that are over 30/60/90+ days (depending on your market) so they can give you the price for a deep clean.

I hope I am able to communicate this in a way where we are working together rather than against eachother, I am more than happy to help her find another rental as well.

Pointing your tenants towards these resources could be a win-win.Keep Communication Open (But Documented): Continue trying to reach out.

We still handle guest communication but we have a cleaner on staff who makes maintenance/repair requests and handles supplies and orders.
