Follow up and ensure the loop is closed quickly.When you call the city ask what triggered the visit.

Hey Dan, I live in California but have got 12-doors in Detroit that have done extremely well both from a cash flow and appreciation perspective. 

The third is California, especially San Diego.

I am open to any place on the northern side of California/Oregon or Washington, However, I am also open to any other states if I could manage the property remotely.

@Qais Attarwala I visit all my properties weekly to make sure there is no trash on them and that I’m being a good neighbor.

Is it enough to just visit a couple time to get validation on desired location or is a 6-12 month stay needed?

We've all heard of FHA and VA loans but I'm not well versed in the different types of loan programs that may be offered in California or other states.

I have LLCs set up in the state my properties are in, but if I could do it again I'd probably just do one for my home state because you have to pay business tax in CA if you live here even for out of state LLCs.

CA allows multi bene loans but they must be originated  by a CA RE broker.
