The problem with borrowing from grandma is she is going to scrutinize your every move and purchase until she's paid back, Thanksgiving dinner is going to taste bad sitting across from her. 

No water/sewer bill is great, and once you drink well water everyday, all city water tastes like chlorine.

Should help your cashflow as a rental.Numbers are to thin for my taste for a flip.Sell it as a lease-option.

I can't argue with success, but his (over)use of foul language is a little much for my taste.

This will cost you for the transaction, but should pay dividends long term if you want to  differentiate yourself#4 Total transparency (ex. fro your contract to buy the house prior to assignment, of course) - rehab estimates, any knowledge of issues, etc.I'm not currently buying houses, but contracted w/ a dishonest wholesaler this summer who left a bad taste in my mouth.   

Apparently they "haven't charged deposits in years".I am just wonder if it would be in good taste to charge another pet fee.  

Hi All,I have a little cash and a 12 year goal to retirement.  Once I spend my cash on my first cash flowing home (plex) it will take me a few years to save enough to buy another.  Am I missing something?  I can't see...

What I think COULD be a sign of shifting tastes is more and more young people buying smaller first houses or even downsizing.My wife and I rented out our 2300sf house in a great houston suburb, and purchased a 1000sf house for twice as much closer to town and have not missed it one bit.
