Also used to be a deep sea diver working in the oilfield doing underwater construction-- so I have a lot of construction and PM background.We also had a $3MM real estate investing/development business wiped out overnight when hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans a decade ago-- had to rebuild from scratch in an entirely new city.

I put them in the best condition I can so it cuts on repairs.My partner did have an 8-unit apartment building built in the 1800s, and an outbuilding dating back to the late 1700s, but it was in the French quarter of New Orleans.
